learnrealfrench.com is run by Nigel and Patricia Wilson. It’s a French discussion group set up to help people practice and speak better conversational French, using traditional vocabulary plus colloquial words, phrases, and slang – ‘real French’ - spoken by French people
Nigel and Patricia have a love of France, its people and its way of life, and they are continuously developing their understanding of ‘real French’
They own a property in France, situated between Limoges and Perigueux, and go there as often as possible
Nigel has spent time working in France during the past 30 years. He has learned how to communicate in French simply and effectively at all levels, and is generally recognised by French people to speak good and ‘real’ French. He firmly believes that grammatical correctness isn’t necessarily the key to effective communication; it’s simply the desire and confidence to get ‘stuck-in’ and talk. Practice makes perfect!
